J'ai trouvé cet ancien album Sajou sur ebay la semaine dernière. Je n'ai pas pu résister et je l'ai acheté... :o) L'album présente 4 superbes alphabets antiques pour le point de croix. I found this Sajou album on ebay last week. I couldn't even resist and I purchased it... :o) The album offers 4 wonderful antique alphabets for cross-stitching. AMOUR / LOVE
Comme c'est bientôt la St-Valentin, voici une petite grille que j'ai dessinée sur mon logiciel de point de croix. J'espère que vous l'apprécierez.
As it is soon St Valentine's day... here is a small chart I designed with my cross-stitch software for you. Hope you'll like it.

PETIT CONCOURS / LITTLE CONTEST:
1/ Brodez ma grille "Amour" et finalisez votre broderie de la façon que vous le souhaitez.
Stich my chart "Love" and finalize your stitching piece just like you want.
2/ Adressez-moi votre meilleure photo avant le samedi 7 février. Pensez à renommer votre photo à votre nom et à la redimensionner maxi 600 pxl de large. Le 7 février un article sera mis en ligne présentant vos ouvrages et un vote sera alors ouvert du 7 au 13 février pour désigner le plus bel ouvrage "Amour". Résultat du vote le 14 février, jour de la St-Valentin.
Send me your best picture before Feb, 7th. Please rename your picture with your name and resize it maxi 600 pxl wide. On Feb, 7th I will add a new post on my blog introducing with the contestants' works and a public vote will be opened from Feb, 7th to Feb, 13th. The result will be published on Feb, 14th, i.e. on St Valentine's day !

Trop de neige aujourd'hui pour aller travailler... j'ai profité de devoir rester à la maison pour m'amuser avec le logiciel de point de croix...
Today the weather is so much snowy in here (South-East of France) that I couldn't go to work this morning. Instead I have stayed home and I had some fun with my cross-stitch software...

THE DE NOEL / CHRISTMAS TEA
Ici la froideur hivernale ne s'est installée que récemment, juste à temps pour nous faire réaliser que Noël approche. Quel plaisir que de déguster un thé de Noël au chaud chez soi, pendant que le vent souffle à l'extérieur. Je laisse mon esprit vagabonder et penser aux cadeaux que j'offrirai prochainement à mes amies brodeuses. L'idée est toute trouvée : mes premières réalisations tourneront justement autour du thème du "thé de Noël". Mes doigts fourmillent déjà mais il faut tout d'abord que je dessine la grille avant de commencer à broder. Quelques épisodes plus tard, voici le résultat de la broderie (je vous montrerai l'ensemble "finitionné" plus tard, lorsqu'il aura été offert).
Et voici la grille que je suis très heureuse de partager avec vous :
Here the winter cold has really settled in only a few days ago, right on time to make us think that Christmas is coming soon. While hearing the swirly wind outside, how delightful it is having a cup of warm Christmas tea at home. I allow my mind to wander and I think about the gifts I could offer to my stitcher friends... there it is, the idea is found : the key word for my first batch of gifts will be "christmas tea" ! My fingers start tingling already, but I have to draw the chart before starting stitching... After a while, here is the result of the stitching part. I will show you the gift as I finalized it later on, when it will be received ;-).
