MERCI / THANKS
Un petit coussinet adressé à Natty pour la remercier de l'adorable cadeau qu'elle m'avait offert. Elle aurait dû le recevoir maintenant... j'espère !

GATEE / SPOILT
La semaine dernière, je reçois un mail de la part de mon amie américaine Anita pour m'avertir qu'elle m'a envoyé un petit cadeau. Le paquet venant du Texas, je l'ai reçu cette semaine. En découvrant l'énorme enveloppe et son contenu, je suis restée sans voix, émue aux larmes devant tant de générosité et les merveilleux cadeaux qu'Anita m'avait envoyés : l'appareil pour poser les oeillets que je compter acheter ce mois-ci accompagné de tout un assortiment d'oeillets... mais aussi l'un de ses adorables porte-fils dont elle a le secret (tuto sur son blog ici), un fat quarter, tout plein d'échevettes de fils coton et soie, un lot de cartonnettes et d'anneaux à fils, et le superbe modèle "Whitman's Vintage red tin sewing set" de Fancy Work comprenant non seulement la grille mais aussi la boite et l'échette de fil Threadwork n° 1089. Plus aucun doute dans le tître de mon article ! Mille mercis, ma chère Anita !
Last week my friend Anita advised me by email that she had posted a small gift to me. The package coming from Texas, I already knew it would take about one week to reach me... and when I got the huge envelope this week and opened it... I couldn't even believe my eyes !! Stunned, moved to tears, speechless... these was what I felt in front of all the wonderful gifts Anita had sent me : the eyelet tools I wanted to purchase this month delivered with lots of eyelets... and also a lovely floss ring tags of her (you can find the tutorial on her blog here), a fat quarter, many skeins of cotton and silk threads, lots of thread drops and thread rings, the wonderful "Whitman's Vintage red tin sewing set" by Fancy work including not only the chart but the tin box and a threadworx # 1089 skein as well. No more wonder in the title of my post then ! Thank you sooo much again, dear Anita !

COLLECTION...
J'aime tout particulièrement collectionner les articles de mercerie ancienne... J'avais acheter un cadre Amadeus en solde l'été dernier... j'attendais l'inspiration et finalement... elle est arrivée ! :)
I like pretty much collecting vintage sewing & stitching items... I had purchased a frame by Amadeus during the last summer sales... I was waiting for the inspiring idea and finally... it has striked me ! :)

MON "SAJOU" / MY "SAJOU"
L'an passé j'avais terminé de broder mon "BEGLAD Sajou" mais depuis je n'étais pas totalement satisfaite de l'encadrement :
Last year I finished stitching the SAL "Sajou" but I have remained unsatisfied with the framing until then :
Le cadre était celui que je voulais mais la taille de la broderie ne correspondait pas. Récemment j'ai donc décidé de rajouté une bordure supplémentaire et j'aime beaucoup le résultat. :)
The frame was just the one I wanted but it didn't perfectly fit with the size of the stitching piece. Recently I have decided to stitch an additional border so that it would fit better and now I am very much satisfied with my "Sajou" :).
